Defending English Vocaloids

My response to cutiepuhtootie rant about Vocaloids. She wrote:

English Vocaloids

A lot of people seem to have a lot of opinions with the English Vocaloids which some of are very racist. Here are two examples:

"I can actually understand the English Vocaloid! Yaaaaay!!!!"

Okay, now that right there is just plain racist. If you wanna know what the Japanese Vocaloids are saying/talking about, then go get the f--king translated lyrics. God.

Do you know what racism is? Because this is not racist. The person is glad they have a vocaloid that  can sing in the language they speak. They never said they hated Japanese vocaloids they just cant understand them without having to look for English subs.

"It was smart of the developers to finally make an English Vocaloid."

This too, is also racist. It shows how these people are finally happy to know that the Vocaloid developers finally made a version that they can actually understand. I'm an American and half the J-pop I listen to I have no clue what they're saying OR talking about, but do I care? NO, I DON'T CARE. I JUST LISTEN TO IT. F--K.

Again not racist. This person is just happy that the developers of Vocaloid made English version so people who speak English or who wants to make English songs can use them. What is wrong with that?

English vocaloid lovers take a lot of crap for liking said vocaloids. The stuff you wrote doesn't compare to the stupid stuff I get thrown at me just for liking Miriam over Miku.
Now if you want example of racist/stupid comments let me give you random comments that people have left on the English vocaloid vids I  upload on Youtube:

“This is Miriam. I pretty sure she is a American Vocaloid so in other words she sucks.”

(First, there is only one American vocaloid and that's Big Al and he is not even out yet. Second,  why is it just because she 'American' she automatically sucks.”

I don't like the English vocaloids, their not cute.

(Wait isn't the point of vocaloids is to sing songs, and if you really have a problem with what the way English vocaloid look, you can just draw them a different way. People who says these things are why Hannah Montana and The Jonas Brothers are 'popular' singers now.)

English vocaloid will never be better than the originals.

(Okay people get it through your heads. ENGLISH VOCALOIDS CAME FIRST! If it weren't for Leon and Lola you probably wouldn't even have the vocaloids you have now. Also you can't compare Japanese and English vocaloids. English vocaloids are used for serious business, while Japanese vocaloids are used for weeaboo and otakus purposes.)

No offense cutiepuhtootie, but you seem to be the slightly racist, maybe a weeaboo even. It may seem that I'm attacking but I'm not. I'm just saying thats how your writing comes off.

It seems like you don't want anyone to like English vocaloids. Or get upset when a person like an English vocaloid better than a Japanese one.

I like English vocaloids, that doesn't mean I hate the Japanese ones. I absolutely enjoy Kaito, Meiko, and Gackpoid. And I would download there software into my computer if given the chance.

The reason I like English vocaloids is because I think they sing just as well as the Japanese ones, plus there are a lot of English songs out there that I want to here sung in clear English. Plus there is the fact that English vocaloid may eve be able to sing other language that came from Latin such as Spanish. And there are many people out there who are like me and enjoy English vocaloids as well. There are even people who who prefer Japanese vocaloids over English ones, but still like English vocaloids.

You may think, I'm racist for this and that's find, but let me give you a tip. In your artist comments you said: An opinion is an opinion, and this one's mine. Get over it.

So please get over the fact that some people like English vocaloids.
